What is investor ready?

I had a conversation with someone today and actually asked me what this means even though he intuitively knew what it entails – or thought so……

In short, if you are raising capital, you are asking someone else to invest money in your venture. No one invests to loose; by default everyone invests to not lose, and probably want to make a profit. I say probably because there are some benefactors out there who just want to support their loved ones do what they want to do without a concern. Anyone else donates to charities.

If you can prove to an investor on the balance of probabilities that you will make them a profit (on a magnitude equal to the investors wants – you are investor ready.
